Key Responsibilities
* Own end-to-end demand forecasts for brand/market set, ensuring accuracy and transparency of assumptions.
* Ensure full adherence to planning calendar, IBP/S&OP cadence and forecast governance.
* Lead demand discussions in Demand Review and serve as the primary planning voice into S&OP forums, influencing cross‑functional alignment and decision making.
* Challenge commercial, marketing and finance inputs using fact‑based analysis and scenarios.
* Conduct in‑depth analysis of historic trends, macro drivers, market trends and portfolio dynamics to strengthen the demand signal.
* Identify and communicate demand risks & opportunities; recommend mitigation or capture strategies.
* Partner closely with marketing, commercial, finance and supply teams to translate business plans into forecast assumptions and inventory strategies.
* Act as a key point of contact for supply organisation to ensure reliable execution of demand plans and to support service.
* Have a deep understanding of the portfolio in an end‑to‑end perspective and use appropriate forecast and tracking approach in life‑cycle management (NPI, Disc, PIPO).
* Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning accuracy and efficiency. Continuously evaluate and refine demand planning processes, incorporating best practices to enhance results.
* Collaborate with implementation and effective use of demand planning tools and software to improve forecast accuracy.
* Lead teams to achieve expected forecast value add (FVA) by incorporating/refreshing building blocks in Demand Review.
* Targeted customer reviews to support execution of critical commercial activities.
* Collaborate with Regional Supply organisation to ensure reliability of supply, execute inventory improvement plans as needed.
* Monitor current consumption trends and stock‑in‑trade data to identify potential business risks, whilst deploying strategies to mitigate issues.
Knowledge, Skills And Capabilities
* Analytical Skills: Strong capability in analysing data, identifying patterns, and proposing actionable insights.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with advanced demand planning tools and software.
* Detail Oriented: Ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Collaboration: Ability to work cross‑functionally and build strong relationships across departments.
* Problem‑Solving: Aptitude for identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions.
Qualifications
* University Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics & Predictive Analytics.
* Supply Chain certification (APICS/IBF) desirable.
* 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP.
