Description The Site Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities related to the Net Zero Teesside Power project at the site, ensuring timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project specifications, schedule, and budget. This role requires close coordination with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth procurement processes and mitigate risks. 2. Objectives Ensure procurement activities support the overall project schedule and objectives. Achieve cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and safety standards. Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, and company requirements. 3. Scope of Work 3.1 Procurement Planning & Strategy Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with project schedules. Identify procurement requirements in collaboration with engineering, construction, and project management teams. Establish procurement procedures, standards, and documentation. 3.2 Vendor/Supplier Management Pre-qualify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers. Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance. Conduct supplier assessments and audits as needed. 3.3 Procurement Execution Issue purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with project requirements. Expedite procurement activities to meet project milestones. Manage change orders and amendments to purchase agreements. Coordinate with logistics for delivery schedules and customs clearance if applicable. 3.4 Contract Management Review and manage procurement contracts and agreements. Ensure contractual obligations are met by suppliers. Address and resolve procurement-related issues and disputes. 3.5 Quality & Compliance Ensure all procurement activities comply with Technip Energies’ standards, safety policies, and project specifications. Verify that purchased materials and equipment meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain documentation for traceability and audit purposes. 3.6 Risk Management Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues proactively. Manage potential delays or shortages in materials and equipment. 3.7 Reporting & Communication Provide regular procurement status reports to project management. Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders. Participate in project meetings as required. 3.8 Closeout & Documentation Ensure proper documentation of procurement activities. Facilitate procurement closeout procedures at project completion. Archive procurement records in accordance with company policies. 4. Duration & Working Conditions The scope covers the duration of the construction and commissioning phases of the Net Zero Teesside Power project. The Site Procurement Manager will work on-site as required, with possible travel to supplier locations or other project sites. 6. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in procurement management within large-scale energy or industrial projects. Strong understanding of EPC procurement processes.
