Registered Home Manager - Children and Young People
Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day
Salary: £42,000 - £49,500 per year
Brook Street Social Care is excited to be recruiting a new Children's Residential Manager. This role is ideal for a nurturing individual passionate about helping children flourish and inspiring a dedicated team to provide exceptional care to vulnerable children.
The Role:
Our client seeks an experienced Registered Manager committed to shaping the lives of children in need. Your focus will be on building a brighter future for them.
As a Registered Manager, you will manage the residential home daily, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations of the home, overseeing care delivery, staff schedules, and well-being to create a safe, nurturing environment.
* Lead a team of Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, and Deputy Managers with compassion, integrity, and empathy, fostering a culture of excellence and care.
* Oversee assessments, personalized care plans, and ongoing monitoring to ensure exceptional care and improve children's quality of life.
* Collaborate with the DASHH team to provide specialized therapeutic support, adopting a holistic approach to care.
* Ensure compliance with standards and regulations from the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and Social Care Wales (SCW).
Experience:
* QCF Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential care setting
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Passion for providing exceptional care
