Job Description: About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor to join our client's growing conveyancing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional with a minimum of two years residential conveyancing experience who is confident managing their own caseload and supporting junior team members. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the firms ongoing growth and success. Key Responsibilities Conveyancing Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including: Sale and purchase Transfer of equity Remortgages Leasehold transactions Bridging loans and bridging finance Ensure all work is legally compliant, accurate, and completed within required timescales. Adhere to the Law Societys Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). Supervise and support junior team members and support staff. Assist with training, mentoring and coaching where appropriate. Client Relationship Management Put clients at the heart of everything you do. Provide clear, regular updates throughout transactions. Deliver a consistently high-quality service. Listen to client feedback and implement improvements where necessary. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with: SRA Regulations SRA Accounts Rules Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements Data Protection legislation Cybercrime prevention procedures Identify and report compliance breaches promptly. Actively manage and mitigate risk across your caseload. Escalate any compliance concerns to the Head of Conveyancing or Managing Director. Financial & Business Performance Manage billing processes efficiently, including raising invoices and resolving queries. Undertake credit control where appropriate. Develop and maintain strong relationships with: Clients Estate agents Mortgage brokers Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and value for money. Essential Qualifications Law Degree Completion of LPC Current valid Practising Certificate Experience Minimum 2 years residential conveyancing experience. Experience complying with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience using internal CRM systems.
