Assistant Acoustic Consultant Location: Brighton Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 We are currently working with a leading consultancy that specialises in acoustics, noise, and vibration, who are seeking a motivated graduate to join their team as an Assistant Acoustic Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience within a highly respected technical environment. The role will involve: Conducting field and on-site noise and vibration measurements. Data handling, analysis, and interpretation. Carrying out environmental and building acoustics assessments. Using specialist modelling software (e.g. SoundPLAN, CadnaA, NoiseMap, Odeon, Insul). Designing effective noise and vibration mitigation solutions. Preparing clear, concise technical reports. Collaborating with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality project outcomes.The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Acoustical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil/Architectural Acoustics, or a related technical discipline (ideally with focus on acoustics, noise, or vibration). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.Desirable skills include: Experience with acoustics modelling software.
