Our client, a dynamic organisation based in Didcot is seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position after six months. Summary:

Duration: 6 months - potential to be made permanent after 6 months!
Location: Didcot - OX11
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: Part Time - 22.5 hours per week - flexible over 3 or 5 daysKey Responsibilities:
Order Management: Place and monitor orders with external suppliers, ensuring that all materials and services meet operational requirements.
Supplier Liaison: Communicate effectively with suppliers to guarantee timely and complete deliveries, escalating any issues as necessary to meet customer expectations.
Tracking Coordination: Collaborate with Third-party Logistics providers to maintain up-to-date tracking of material movements.
Business Support: Assist management in achieving business objectives while adhering to best practises.
Performance Measurement: Contribute to assessing departmental and team performance, striving for the highest possible individual and team objectives.
Reporting: Gather information from stakeholders to compile regular reports that support the management team.
Policy Knowledge: Keep abreast of relevant policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational excellence.What You'll Bring:
Experience in logistics or buying, with a preference for international logistics experience.
Advanced Excel skills to manage and analyse data efficiently.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and team members.
