We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of IT Communication Carrier Management Manager.
HSBC is a global bank & we have a large network infrastructure spanning the globe, supported by 130+ carriers. We are establishing a global team to manage our carrier infrastructure and multiple vendors.
In this role, you will:
* Lead a telecommunications IT carrier management team to manage vendor activities.
* Build strong relationships with both in-country & international carriers and play a proactive and pivotal role in annual contract negotiations.
* Establish standard reporting across the entire carrier base in relation to SLAs & KPIs for service quality and delivery.
* Drive MTTR reduction via continuous service improvement and trending of MI. Work with Capacity Manager to ensure bandwidth requirements are met.
* Point of escalation and seen as an SME within HSBC to address carrier issues across different stakeholder groups
* Work with internal teams to maintain an accurate inventory along with Annual recertification of third-party circuits
* Identify opportunities to optimize carrier spend.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* Proven track record of working in IT Communication Carrier Management.
* Background in Voice and Data Services
* Sound knowledge and experience of Industry practices within a Telecommunications industry is essential
* Must have experience of Account and Service Management for large enterprise level organisations
* Experience dealing with cross functional & business teams globally.
* Proactive in identifying associated risks & drive speedy mitigations.
* Experience in building, mentoring and managing an effective team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
