Overview:

Entry level role to support our high performing Adviser Sales Team (AST) by delivering excellent office-based service to our intermediary clients, maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline data, ensuring performance data in our marketing material is correct and up to date and collating MI from different platforms and databases to distribute internally to the team. The role also contributes to external event planning and is a key point of contact for relationships with third parties.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and data manipulation / analysis skills, be highly organised and confident to work with a variety of stakeholders within the company.

At present much of what the team does is manual and we are looking for someone who can assist in developing systems / making better use of excel etc. to improve data analysis and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support

* Provide high levels of office-based service and support to the Adviser Sales Team (AST) as well as both existing and potential intermediary supporters
* Work alongside the AST dealing with requests and queries from our external intermediary clients.
* Refresh monthly and quarterly marketing data ensuring it up to date
* Produce accurate sales reports
* Maintain new business pipeline on behalf of the AST and Director of Strategy
* Maintain the AST records (proposals won and lost etc.)
* Co-ordinate work with the RFP manager to ensure timely completion of due diligence questionnaires, responding to other requests from intermediaries and third party databases
* First point of contact for the sales and marketing functions to then work with our strategic third-party partners such as platform providers if issues need to be resolved
* Coordinating the provision of marketing material and information to our strategic partners such as platforms and database providers. Ensuring that material on provider websites is up to date.
* Work closely with the Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Director of Strategy to ensure the CRM is accurate
* Support the Adviser Sales team in day-to-day prospecting activity by running reports from various sources and databases to identify new leads
* Support the planning and implementing of intermediary events, including seminars and workshops, alongside our BDMs.
* Ensure intermediary events are logged and run in line with FCA/GDPR procedures
* Arrange for all promotional materials, banners and merchandise to be sent to the conferences and events in advance

Other

* Develop knowledge and understanding of external databases such as Defaqto, Financial Clarity and Financial Express to provide regular and ad-hoc material to support the AST activity
* Develop service provider relationships with Platform, SIPP and Bond Provders while also understanding W1M services available through each service provider
* Maintain an internal database of our service availability
* Responsibility for managing W1M marketing material and content on each provider website to ensure it is up to date and relevant
* Support the BDM’s in the identification and development of new business prospects through third party databases, web-searches and initial contact activity
* Become Dynamo CRM “team champion” with detailed knowledge of the system


Background / Experience and Competencies Required

* Graduate calibre individual with passion for data and knowledge of how to harness data to assist our sales team with prospecting and support MI production for the senior management team
* Excellent attention to detail
* Advanced Excel and data analytics skills:

VLookup

Pivot Tables

VBA

* Familiarity with data visualisation and business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI would be advantageous
* Organised and methodical with ability to work in a fast paced and varied environment
* Strong communicator; verbal and written
* Enjoy working in a team while being prepared to take on additional responsibilities as required
