Job Title: Housing Stock Survey Manager
Team: Asset Management
Overview of role:
We are looking for a Housing Stock Survey Manager to join our Assets Team to lead on delivering programmes of stock surveys, including general stock condition, decent homes, energy performance and HHSRS.
Responsible for a small team of stock condition surveyors, you will drive the collation of quality property data to inform the capital investment programme. The scope of the role includes the housing stock, communal areas, garages and neighbourhoods.
You will need a good understanding of residential buildings, different construction types, common faults, remedies, and component life cycles. You should also have a good understanding of energy efficiency and potential improvement measures to support the organisation achieving EPC band C by 2030 and net zero carbon by 2041.
You’ll have an eye for detail and be highly skilled at working with large amounts of data. You will also be hands on, undertaking some surveys yourself so will need to have transport to enable you to get out and about in the borough.
You’ll be passionate about improving the quality of our homes for the benefit of our customers and achieving value for money. As a manager you’ll be able to effectively lead and manage people.
