Supply Desk is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Chichester to recruit a passionate and committed Science Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This position will run until December 2025, with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative Science department, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, this is an opportunity to foster curiosity and scientific thinking in a vibrant classroom environment.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and those with strong relevant experience in secondary Science education.

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities
* Encourage scientific enquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback
* Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic standards
* Contribute to the wider school community – including clubs, trips, and enrichment opportunities

What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in a Science-related subject (essential)
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
* A passion for making Science accessible, engaging, and relevant
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
