Turner Property Recruitment is working with a leading construction and property consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager based in Manchester. This is a senior-level role ideal for a professional with strong project experience and business development skills, looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
You will lead a variety of commercial development and construction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role combines technical quantity surveying with elements of project management and client relationship development.
Key responsibilities include
* Leading project financial management, including cost planning, budgets, valuations, and final account preparation
* Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, maintaining and building strong professional relationships
* Supporting business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to fee growth
* Preparing cost reports, tender documentation, and contract administration
* Coordinating with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
* Mentoring junior members of the team and supporting their professional development
About You
* Senior-level Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager with significant commercial experience
* Experience managing multi-million-pound projects
* Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration
* Commercially minded with experience in business development or client-facing roles
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* RICS qualified (desirable but not essential if equivalent experience)
