We are working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in East Grinstead who are seeking a talented English Teacher to join their team from Easter through to the end of the academic year (July 2026).
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a supportive department with strong leadership, engaged students, and excellent classroom behaviour.
The Role:
* Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
* Marking and assessment in line with school policy
* Contributing positively to a collaborative English department
The Ideal Candidate:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
* Strong classroom management
* Passionate about literature and language, with the ability to inspire learners
