The Home
Slemish is a registered nursing home which provides nursing care for up to 45 patients. The home is over two floors. Patient bedrooms are located over the two floors. Patients have access to a communal lounge, dining room and outside spaces. We are currently opening a new unit within the home in May, so we have opportunities to expand our team!
The Role
Working as part of a team, you will deliver an efficient and high-quality accommodation and housekeeping service within the home to assist with the well-being, comfort and development of its residents.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure the expected standards are achieved throughout the home
* Cover domestic duties as assigned
* Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
* Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
* Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations
You will need:
* To be numerate and literate with a good standard of English
* Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
* Relevant work experience in a healthcare environment preferred
* The Right to Work in the UK
* An Enhanced Access NI check to be completed
