Primary Objective Of The Job
Our Customer Host Supervisors support the team in delivering an amazing customer experience. You will work alongside the Shop Manager to deliver excellent shop commercial, visual and operational standards and to support the development and training of your team.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll report to the Shop Manager and sit within our Retail team.
Customer Experience
* Leading by example and coaching the team to ensure the shop delivers excellent customer service in line with our ACE pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring, Be Invaluable) throughout the Customer Journey.
* Promoting and compiling customer information, in line with data protection regulations, during purchases and driving email conversion and sign-ups.
* Introducing customers to multichannel shopping through endless aisle orders.
Product Presentation and Visual Standards
* Maintaining high visual standards in-store.
* Supporting floor moves, mannequin and window displays, and replenishment.
* Understanding features of our product ranges and communicating these to customers and the team.
Commercial Management
* Making commercial decisions and being proactive with stock, promotions, and opportunities to drive sales.
* Coordinating promotions, incentives and key trading periods including customer events, seasonal setup, sale launches and promotions.
* Understanding and communicating shop KPIs to the team.
* Leading team briefs in management absence to ensure the team is informed and motivated to achieve targets.
* Continuously improving team performance.
Team Management
* Organising and supporting shop operations through staff management processes such as Rotageek.
* Engaging with customers using company resources and ensuring daily/weekly action compliance.
* Creating a positive shop atmosphere focused on sales and customer experience results.
* Motivating and rewarding the team through praise and recognition.
* Living Brand Values and championing these within the team.
* Delegating tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day running and prioritising to balance tasks with customer service.
* Training and developing the team; supporting wellbeing initiatives and escalating people queries to management and People teams.
* Communicating People Team updates to the team.
Operational Support
* Processing deliveries efficiently and ensuring products are replenished and available.
* Assisting with stock takes and audits to ensure accurate reconciliation.
* Supporting day-to-day store operations, including paperwork, cash handling, and in-store systems knowledge.
* Understanding policies and procedures; escalating operational risks as needed.
* Leading Health & Safety and emergency procedures during management absence.
* Supporting visits from internal stakeholders professionally.
* Managing ship-from-store and Click & Collect processes; assisting with stocktake and audits.
Doing Good Stuff
* Awareness of the charity partner and supporting events or promotions; understanding ethical sourcing and environmental impact to explain to customers and the team.
