The post holder will provide leadership around medicines management and governance within the prison service range as well as representing the Health Board at national groups, and strategic NHSL meetings. Key Responsibilities include providing a clinical pharmacy service within the prison setting to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care. The post holder will also work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines management & support prescribing, medication reviews, and adherence to NHSL and national guidelines. What we'll need you to bring Masters degree in Pharmacy Registered to practice with the General Pharmaceutical Council Continuing Professional Development as detailed by the General Pharmaceutical Council (mandatory requirement) Ability to monitor patient therapeutic regimens to ensure effectiveness and reduce toxicity. Previous experience in delivering training and education at post-graduate level. Demonstrable use of clinical audit to improve practice. Demonstrate advanced level of clinical reasoning and judgement. Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills Ability to work to deadlines and manage resources Participation in weekend and public holiday working.
