Fishkeeper Scotland, part of Maidenhead Aquatics, is seeking a Retail Aquatics Assistant to join the team in its Inverness store. This role is ideal for someone passionate about aquatics and retail who enjoys working with both animals and people.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service and expert advice on aquatics care
* Assist with sales and maintain a clean, well-presented store
* Care for livestock and ensure tanks and displays are maintained to high standards
* Handle stock deliveries, pricing, and merchandising
* Work as part of a small, supportive team to achieve sales and service goals
Requirements
* An interest in fishkeeping and aquatics is essential
* Retail experience preferred but not required — training will be provided
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
* Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
