Responsibilities & Duties
Employee Relations
* Ensuring HR-related policies and procedures are current and compliant with employment legislation.
* Supporting ER cases and HR queries.
* Liaising with ACAS for early conciliation.
* Supporting employment tribunal work where required.
* Providing advice and guidance to employees and line managers on employment issues.
* Advising line managers and coordinating with the Occupational Health provider to manage long-term absence and support employees' mental and physical well-being throughout the employee lifecycle.
Learning and Development
* Identifying training needs of employees.
* Coaching and developing people managers in HR-related areas.
* Collaborating on the creation of HR training for managers.
* Supporting Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives.
* Assisting in the development of the People Assistant and HR Apprentice programs.
Resourcing
* Working with stakeholders to identify recruitment needs.
* Supporting the Talent Team with recruitment activities, including assessment centres and job descriptions.
* Representing the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
* Supporting managers with probation management and annual appraisals.
Compensation & Benefits
* Participating in bonus and incentive schemes.
* Contributing to employee benefits strategies.
* Participating in salary reviews and benchmarking exercises.
Ad Hoc Duties
* Supporting team members and other departmental tasks as needed.
* Reporting on KPIs as required.

* Experience in all HR areas
* CIPD Level 3 (essential), Level 5 (desirable)
