We are looking for an exceptional professional to help us grow even stronger. You will lead our tender and bid efforts and utilise tender content to develop marketing material such as catalogues and web copy.
The Role:
As our Public Sector Account & Bid Lead, you’ll play a vital role in identifying, managing, and submitting public sector procurement opportunities. You’ll be a vital part of the team - writing winning proposals, managing frameworks, and strengthening our B2G relationships.
This is an exciting, high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment and is looking to develop their career in a niche but fast-moving space.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading the end-to-end bid and tender process for public sector clients.
* Writing and editing persuasive, tailored submissions.
* Managing deadlines, compliance documentation, and internal collaboration for submissions.
* Maintaining a centralised content library and using feedback to continuously improve our bids.
* Contributing to marketing content (e.g., catalogues and web copy).
* Supporting client relationships including contributing to CRM systems
* Facilitating the transition from successful bid to operational delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience or knowledge of Public Sector Procurement - either submitting or evaluating tenders and/or frameworks.
* Strong Writing Skills - able to produce clear, concise, and targeted content for a local authority audience.
* Proven B2G Experience – working with procurement or selling to public sector organisations.
* On-site Working - this is an office-based role in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
It’s a Bonus If You Have:
* Knowledge or experience of local authority licensing or enforcement.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. APMP, bid writing, copywriting, marketing or project management).
* Technical or manufacturing background especially working with specifications.
* Commercial acumen with strong numeracy and analytical skills.
* Team Management
* Knowledge of industry certifications and compliance standards.
* A current, clean UK driving licence.
