Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Orrell)

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Orrell is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and who thrives in a busy, nurturing school environment.
The role will involve:
Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning.
Assisting with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
Helping to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
The school is looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working within a primary school setting..
Is patient, reliable, and proactive.
Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
Holds a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
