We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee our Supported Living and Domiciliary Care services across Burton Upon Trent and its surrounding areas. In this pivotal role, you will hold full responsibility for the welfare and safeguarding of our Service Users, as well as the management and delivery of all aspects of their care. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of £37,000 – £40,000, along with a performance-based bonus scheme, reflecting our commitment to recognising and rewarding excellence in care leadership. Job Overview Scope of the Role: The Registered Manager will take a lead role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our adult care homes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory standards while fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment. In this role, you will lead a team of committed care professionals, ensuring that each resident receives a tailored care plan designed to meet their individual needs and promote their health, well-being, independence, and dignity. You will work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Key responsibilities include overseeing safeguarding procedures, staff training and development, and promoting a positive culture that values compassion, empowerment, and continuous improvement across the service. As Registered Manager, you will be supported by an experienced leadership team with over a decade of expertise in adult social care, offering guidance and resources to help you deliver outstanding care and drive service excellence. Qualifications: Essential: * You will be an existing Registered Manager with a minimum of 2 years of experience working at senior level with all the mandatory trainings for a residential care home. * Your experience will be based within a social care setting supporting adults or children with complex learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health needs. * Computer literate. Desirable Requirements: * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). * Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). * Experience achieving a GOOD or OUTSTANDING rating with CQC as a registered manager. * Full UK Driving Licence. General Aptitude: * Flexible with the ability to cover shifts / emergencies – however role is predominately Mon-Fri. * Comprehensive understanding of positive behaviour support and risk management.
