Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen to join our team in C5 as a Healthcare Support Worker on a permanent basis.
Ward C5 is a fast paced 28 bedded general medical ward specialising in haematology, infectious diseases and gastroenterology.
We are a friendly team committed to delivering high quality, safe, and effective person-centred care.
As an unregistered nurse, you will:
1. Implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care prescribed by the registered nurse, and document this care.
2. Assist in delivering meals and support patients with nutritional needs.
3. Work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
4. Support families and carers.
5. Maintain a safe and clean environment following infection control policies.
6. Carry out various clinical skills as required.
This role involves shift work, including 7.5 or 11.5-hour day shifts and 11.5-hour night shifts, including weekends.
