About The Role
As an Ecologist, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality ecological advice and surveys across a range of infrastructure and development projects. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions for clients across utilities, transport, and renewable sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake and coordinate ecological surveys (e.g. Phase 1/UKHab, protected species, habitat assessments).
* Produce clear, concise, and accurate ecological reports and impact assessments.
* Support project delivery from feasibility through to construction and post-consent stages.
* Provide ecological advice to clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
* Liaise with regulators, local authorities, and stakeholders as required.
About You
* Degree (or equivalent) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in ecological surveying, reporting, and project management.
* Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and relevant policy.
* Membership (or working towards) CIEEM or equivalent professional body.
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
