A well-regarded and progressive secondary school in Portsmouth is currently seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join their dedicated mathematics department. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional to teach students across Years 7 to 11, foster a love for mathematics, and help drive student achievement. As a Maths Teacher at this school, you’ll play a key role in promoting high standards and contributing to a positive and engaging culture of learning.
The Role
* Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that make complex concepts accessible
* Monitor pupil progress and provide regular, constructive feedback
* Contribute to raising standards of achievement within the department
* Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
* Strong subject knowledge with a passion for maths education
* Able to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
* Confident in classroom and behaviour management
* A collaborative team member, committed to continuous development and improvement
