Our client, a specialist Removals Company based in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Removals Branch Manager.
As the Removals Branch Manager, you will monitor branch performance, including KPIs, ensuring accurate reporting of figures and monthly profit and loss, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch. Your primary focus will be to manage a team of movers and coordinators, optimize resources, and maintain high service standards.
Main duties of the Removals Branch Manager:
* Maintain market awareness and conduct analysis to identify business development opportunities and generate leads.
* Manage Branch Profit and Loss, including gross profit, cost control, and net profit.
* Write proposals, tenders, and supplier agreements.
* Develop effective business and action plans.
* Prepare client reports and other ad-hoc reports.
* Negotiate business deals (rates and fees).
The successful candidate will have experience in Domestic Moving, Commercial Moving, or International Moving, along with a strong background in Transport Management.
Required experience includes:
* Current or previous experience in Branch Management.
* Strong knowledge of removals procedures, logistics, and best practices.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
* A proven track record of managing teams and achieving operational targets.
