This role is only for students whose studies are taking place in Dudley.
As an Event Ambassador you’ll be the friendly face of the University at recruitment events including Open Days, Applicant Days as well as at corporate events which engage with key stakeholders. You will support the preparation, set-up, and delivery of high-quality events. Event Ambassadors are responsible for helping guests have the best experience possible at the University during both virtual and in-person events. Whether online or on campus, you will welcome prospective students and share your experiences of being a student. You may also support academic staff in the delivery of course talks and taster sessions from your own course.
Ambassador work is flexible and is designed to fit alongside studies. Event Ambassadors are encouraged to work all opportunities that are available to them including Open Days, school taster days and corporate events.
Within this role, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain experience in digital marketing by representing the University online. You can create and star in photos and video content for Instagram and Tiktok, write for the student blog, and provide advice to prospective students in online spaces. You’ll work closely with the Digital Team, who will help you to develop essential skills in content production and marketing.
