Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading, dynamic consultancy, specialising in offshore engineering, with an established international profile in large-scale submarine cable developments and operations.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Modeller. The successful candidate will be part of a specialist team, delivering environmental modelling and impact assessment projects to clients in the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
* Be part of a specialist team delivering environmental modelling and impact assessment projects for clients in the UK and internationally.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree in science, engineering, mathematics or geography.
* Excellent data analysis and IT literacy skills.
* Experience using predictive models, advanced data analysis and management tools.
* Confidence using modelling software such as DELFT or MIKE.
* High standard of scientific report writing.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders.
* Comfortable managing work packages or projects.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues to develop practical, leading-edge solutions.
