You'll be part of a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment, working alongside experts in reinforcement learning, NLP, knowledge graphs, and AI for RF and EW.
As an AI Knowledge & Semantics Researcher, you'll have the freedom to innovate, lead projects, and develop cutting-edge solutions applying large language models (LLMs), graph machine learning, and semantic reasoning to real-world challenges. This is a perfect fit for someone with a passion for applied AI, who thrives in an environment that blends technical depth with real-world impact.
Role Requirements:
* Lead research and development in NLP, knowledge graphs, and LLM-based applications.
* Guide a team of researchers to deliver high-impact projects across government and commercial sectors.
* Develop prototypes, proof-of-concept models, and technical reports.
* Engage with academic and SME partners to explore new AI techniques.
* Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
* PhD-qualified with 4+ years post-PhD experience in AI/ML research.
* Proven success leading R&D teams and securing funding.
* Strong Python programming skills and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
* Expertise in NLP, knowledge graphs, and/or graph machine learning.
* Desirable: experience with tools like PyTorch-Geometric, Neo4j, SQL/Cypher, or semantic reasoning.
