We’re looking for a Private Client Solicitor with 6+ PQE to join a growing legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Europe’s most progressive consumer legal‑tech organisations, where innovation, client care and operational excellence sit at the heart of everything they do.
You’ll manage your own caseload of probate matters, ranging from straightforward estates to complex, high‑value cases while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continuous improvement of our legal operations. Working closely with the Head of Legal and collaborating with sales, product and operational teams, you’ll help shape the future of how probate services are delivered. You’ll be pragmatic, commercially aware, and solutions‑oriented, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
ROLE
* Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to distribution.
* Providing expert legal advice on probate, inheritance tax and private client matters.
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents including IHT forms, grant applications and estate accounts.
* Ensuring compliance with probate law, SRA regulations and internal governance standards.
* Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and paralegals.
* Working cross‑functionally with product, tech and customer service teams to enhance service delivery.
* Leading or contributing to process‑improvement initiatives, including the use of legal‑tech and AI tools.
* Representing the legal team in cross‑departmental projects and client escalations.
ABOUT YOU
* A qualified Solicitor with 6+ PQE in probate or private client law.
* Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is excited by the future of legal services.
* Proven experience managing end‑to‑end probate and estate administration cases.
* Ability to handle complex or high‑value estates with minimal supervision.
* A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a positive team culture.
