Your application should reflect your genuine experiences and qualifications to ensure authenticity and credibility Job overview The Nottinghamshire Healthy Family Teams deliver the National and Local Public Health agenda for healthcare, under the supervision and direction of our Specialist Public Health Practitioners (Health Visitor). This post supports the Health Visitor to complete developmental surveillance reviews for universal children and also will deliver expert education, support and advice around the UNICEF breast feeding targets to ante-natal and post-natal women with their infant feeding choices, this will be a considerable part of this job. The team is able to work in a hybrid manner, working from home for completion of records, out and about for the clinical work, this being at the discretion of the Manager. There will be considerable travel between venues, business expenses are paid. Please note: While this role meets the current eligibility criteria for visa sponsorship. Sponsorship is only available for full-time positions. Part-time roles will not meet the minimum salary threshold required for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Working in various settings, including client's homes and also clinics, trained to an expert level in both early child development and breast feeding support. The Trust is committed to reducing its carbon emissions, with a specialised Energy and Environmental team working to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, enhance our environmental performance, and achieve our net-zero commitment Detailed job description and main responsibilities Working as a team member, under the direction and delegation of the Health Visitor the role will concentrate on the completion of early years developmental reviews, which will be a large part of this role, alongside the other significant element of the role, education and support, both telephone and face to face, for breast feeding mothers. You will work under the direction of the Health Visitor to manage your workload, reporting or escalating any concerns or anomalies in a timely manner. You will have extensive training in early years child development, breast feeding and safeguarding, from time to time you may be called upon to support other colleagues within their role, eg. delivery of National Child Measurement Programme annually. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
