Your new role
To support tenants in maximising their income through effective advice and assistance on welfare benefits, debt management, and financial inclusion, helping to sustain tenancies and reduce rent arrears.
* Provide tailored advice on welfare benefits, grants, and income-related support.
* Assist tenants with benefit applications, appeals, and gathering supporting evidence.
* Conduct income assessments and affordability checks.
* Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to support tenants' financial wellbeing.
* Promote benefit take-up through outreach, campaigns, and events.
* Maintain accurate case records and contribute to performance reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
* Knowledge of welfare benefits and income maximisation strategies.
* Experience in housing, advice, or support services.
* Strong communication and advocacy skills.
* Ability to manage sensitive cases with empathy and discretion.
