Sales Engineer
Overview
An established independent supplier within the filtration sector is seeking a full-time Sales Engineer to combine technical expertise with strong commercial capability. This role involves working closely with customers to understand technical challenges, propose effective solutions, and support projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, building long-term relationships, and translating technical detail into clear customer value.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively engage with customers to identify requirements using a consultative approach
Recommend tailored filtration solutions aligned with performance, compliance, and cost needs
Deliver product demonstrations and clearly communicate technical benefits
Respond to technical enquiries and provide first-line troubleshooting support
Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project execution
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business
Manage priorities, follow-ups, and customer expectations to support successful outcomes
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales Engineering or a technical sales role
Proven ability to understand customer requirements and present technical solutions confidently
Strong technical problem-solving and support skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently (including remote working where required)

Experience within filtration or a closely related industry
