Paralegal Contract Type: Permanent Location: Dunnington About the role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across a wide range of legal matters within a commercial environment, supporting senior lawyers and stakeholders across the business. Serving over 12 million customers and employing over 28,000 individuals, the Group supports and serves communities through its operations across the UK, Pakistan and the Middle East Responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (e.g. NDAs, supplier agreements, service agreements) Supporting the legal team with general corporate and commercial matters Conducting legal research and preparing briefing notes Assisting with compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements Managing contract databases and ensuring documentation is up to date Liaising with internal stakeholders across departments (e.g. HR, procurement, finance) Supporting dispute resolution and litigation matters where required Assisting with company secretarial duties (if applicable) The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role (in-house or private practice) Strong understanding of commercial contracts and legal processes Excellent drafting and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Proactive, adaptable, and commercially aware approach Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification Experience working in an in-house legal team Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package 22 days holiday plus opportunity to buy additional days Pension Free on site parking Opportunity to work closely with senior legal professionals Exposure to a broad range of legal work within a commercial setting Career development and progression opportunities We understand that no applicant ever ticks every box so please do consider applying should some or most of the above apply.
