1:1 Teaching Assistant – SEMH Support Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire Start Date: November 2025 Contract: Until the end of the academic year (July 2026) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at our welcoming mainstream secondary school in Clitheroe. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the pupil to support engagement, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour. Provide tailored academic and pastoral support under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCO. Promote independence, resilience, and confidence both in and outside the classroom. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and external professionals.
