Veritas Education are currently working with a welcoming primary school in the Bury area who are seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated HLTA who is passionate about supporting pupils' learning and development across the primary age range.
The Role:
Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Provide targeted intervention support to individuals and small groups
Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on school requirements
Work closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress
Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience
Experience working within a UK primary school setting
Strong behaviour management skills
Confidence leading a classroom when required
A flexible and proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
