Our client is looking for a junior maintenance technician / engineer to support their production operation.
Core duties and responsibilities whilst on shift will include, but are not limited to:
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure high operational standards, including welding rectifiers, wire feed units, robots, assembly jigs, laser cutting machines • Provide reactive maintenance to plant equipment as needed Troubleshooting and repair of machinery in the factory • Fabrication of equipment upgrades • Receive support tickets for breakdowns and see them through topletion • Ordering of spares • Stock taking of spares •municate with colleagues, external contractors and suppliers to ensure plant equipment uptime • Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role the following skills and experience are desirable:
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems • Ability to read and understand technical drawings • Ability and willingness to work at heights • Previous experience in a similar role • A team player with the ability to work independently • Strong attention to detail • Health and safety awareness.
What You'll Get In Return
This role offers an attractive day shift pattern without weekends. The regular hours of work are Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 + Friday 07:00 - 13:00. The starting salary on the role is £29120 with enhanced OT rates also available to supplement your earning potential.
