Your new role
The school is looking for a new business manager from September 2025, to start as soon as possible.
Working full-time, term time, you will support SLT by:
1. Running the school’s financial, administrative, personnel, premises, health & safety, business, and support services in a smooth and efficient manner.
2. Providing regular updates on key financial issues and planning; administration, premises, business, and support services.
3. Supporting the head teacher in identifying priorities related to strategic planning and contributing solutions in line with the ethos of the school’s Development Plans.
4. Managing the admin and supporting personnel, Site Manager and Catering Staff.
5. Implementing an effective marketing plan for the school.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role, prior experience of working as a school business manager, and/ or relevant qualifications would be desirable.The successful candidate will be able to:
6. Work flexibly and collaboratively to meet the changing demands and priorities
7. Ensure safeguarding and promote the safety and welfare of all staff and pupils
8. Effectivelymunicate using both written and oralmunication methods
9. Work in a team or on your own initiative
10. Be self-organised and able to prioritise and manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines.
