A large-scale manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team at a highly automated production facility in Nuneaton.
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work on modern automated machinery within a fast-paced environment that continues to invest heavily in equipment, technology and engineering improvements.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Reactive maintenance and breakdown support across process lines
Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
Working on conveyors, robots, palletisers and packaging machinery
Electrical work involving sensors, relays, contactors, inverters and three-phase systems
Mechanical maintenance on bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics
Supporting planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer position, you should have:
An engineering qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, process or automated environments
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience working safely on machinery
A proactive attitude and team-focused approach
