Housekeeping Assistant Bayards Court, Dartmouth £13.65 per hour effective from April Full and Part Time Hours Available Keeping every corner cared for We’re looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our vibrant team at Bayards Court in Dartmouth. In this role, you’ll make sure every space feels clean, comfortable and welcoming for our residents – from bedrooms to shared areas. It’s a hands-on, varied position where you’ll work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards and take pride in the details that make a big difference. Your role Deliver high-standard housekeeping across all areas, including rooms, ensuites and communal spaces Follow Health & Safety and infection control procedures; report hazards promptly Provide respectful, courteous service to residents and families; resolve complaints effectively Manage stock levels and maintain equipment safely Complete cleaning schedules and daily records accurately Deliver laundry services in line with infection control, ensuring care and confidentiality Work with hospitality team to create a homely, welcoming environment Respond quickly to spills, accidents or emergencies to maintain safety and hygiene Your skills Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties Some experience of working in a domestic/cleaning environment Experience of working in a care home setting Some practical experience in operating cleaning machinery Knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines Experience interpreting written instructions and maintaining written records Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation Your rewards You deserve more than the basics.
