Business Support Administrator | Newcastle | £25,000 – £30,000 | Site-based Are you a highly organised, adaptable Administrator who thrives when no two days look the same? A successful and growing business is looking for a site-based Business Support Administrator to join their team in Newcastle. This is a varied, wide-reaching role that would suit someone calm under pressure, confident managing competing priorities, and open to taking on evolving responsibilities as the company continues to expand. Day-to-day, you'll provide vital support to the SLT and help keep the wider business operating efficiently. The Role Administrative Support You'll be the operational backbone of the business, keeping things organised and moving: Provide HR admin and general administrative support across departments including Customer Services and Warehousing Organise meeting logistics, including room bookings, setup, catering, and equipment for internal and external meetings Coordinate company events and team-building activities Finance Support Handling a broad mix of financial admin tasks: Process direct expenses, invoicing, and receipt allocation Manage credit control reminders and supplier invoice administration Support inventory management as required Diary & Travel Management Manage Senior Managers' diaries, scheduling meetings, interviews, appraisals, and internal reviews Coordinate travel and prepare detailed itineraries covering flights, trains, and accommodation Office & Reporting Manage office supplies and ensure the working environment is well-maintained Track and collate key internal KPI reports from the sales team, including weekly, monthly, and business plans You'll Flourish in This Role if You Have: Previous experience as an Administrator in an office environment, ideally within a small or medium-sized business Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels Discretion, professionalism, and a high level of attention to detail A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, someone who anticipates needs before they arise Some experience in finance administration is advantageous but not essential Why You'll Love Working Here Join a supportive, friendly team where your contribution is genuinely valued Enjoy a role with real variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a difference every day Modern, comfortable offices with free parking for all staff Standard Full time hours 9am - 4pm with 30 mins for lunch Foxgroves Recruitment acts as an employment agency for vacancies on behalf of clients, following fair and inclusive recruitment practices in line with the Equality Act 2010.
