Housekeeping Shift Lead (Evenings)

Up to £27,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 1400-2200 Mon-Fri

We are looking for a housekeeping shift lead who will help us to create a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, utilising the latest equipment, products and supported by a first‑class training programme.
The Evening Shift Lead supports the Head of Housekeeping in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping department during evening hours.
Responsibilities
* Care about our patients so that you can organise your work and plan your time with assistance from our Head of Housekeeping to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patient’s experience.
* Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues and also when you are interacting with our patients.
* Assist in the coordination and supervision of evening housekeeping activities to ensure all assigned areas and rooms meet company standards.
* Lead, support, and motivate the evening housekeeping team to achieve departmental objectives.
* Ideally experienced in a similar leadership role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning processes are followed and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.
* Work closely with the Infection Prevention team, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.
* Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Head of Housekeeping during evening hours.
