About the Role: As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students aged 11-18 with a range of needs including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) Speech, Language and Communication Needs Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges Your responsibilities may include: Providing classroom support under the direction of the class teacher Working 1:1 or in small groups with students to meet their individual needs Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development Assisting with personal care (where appropriate) Helping to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment What We're Looking For: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience working with SEND learners - ideally in a secondary setting A proactive, caring, and patient approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing (training provided) Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
