PBS Team Leader (Abbots Leigh)

About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen within Freeways within the PBS team to support an individual with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism. We are recruiting a PBS Team Leader to work alongside the PBS Manager and PBS Assistant Manager in a supported living service in Abbots Leigh. Providing supervision, support and assistance with the running of the service. This position will enable you to gain experience and build up your confidence, skills and competence in care management.
The PBS Team Leader will assist the PBS Manager and PBS Assistant Manager:
· With the effective management of the service according to Freeways regulations, policies and procedures, in particular Health and Safety at Work and Fire Regulations.
· To provide support to our tenants, promoting individuality, identity, rights, choice, privacy, independence, dignity and respect through informed choice.
· To assist in the preparation and organising of assessments, reviews, PCPs and actively participating in these meetings.
· Contribute toward the development and implementation of PBS plans, strategies and risk management.
· To support your service in celebrating its successes and the achievements of the people you support.
This exciting opportunity will involve a mixture of office-based hours and support work. There is a requirement for flexible working including evenings and weekends.
About you
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a recognised qualification in Health and Social Care or similar or be willing to work towards
* Have knowledge of current regulations and legislation regarding care and support.
* Have knowledge of Positive Behavioural Support.
* Have experience working with clients with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.
* Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to promote and maintain good working relationships.
* Be a Positive role model.
* Be able to work under pressure using own initiative, including lone work in accordance with Freeways procedures
* Hold a full driver's license.
