Sales Executive
Responsibilities
1. Experience in logistics sales, especially serving the Belgium, German, Dutch markets. Iberian market experience is a distinct advantage.
2. Be self-motivated and driven.
3. Ability to generate sales leads and achieve sales goals.
4. Be an effective negotiator at all levels.
5. Prepare and give sales presentations to prospective clients.
6. Visit existing and potential clients.
7. Prepare management reports.
8. Help determine price structures and tariffs, including quoting clients and follow-up calls.
9. Coordinate sales and marketing efforts.
10. Finalize and close deals, including client setup, customs formalities, and credit terms.
11. Maintain client records and build rapport with clients and suppliers, including handling customer complaints and retention.
12. Commit to excellent customer service.
13. Be competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
14. Attend trade seminars, exhibitions, and networking events.
15. Perform competitor analysis to establish market levels.
16. Be prepared to travel within the UK and abroad as necessary.
Additional Details
* Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
* Location: Preferred to be local to Immingham area.
