Night-Time Customer Service Assistant - Sheffield

Working Hours: 9pm – 6am, 1 shift per week, Monday to Sunday

We are seeking a Night-time Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents, ensuring our site and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional, personalized service to residents by anticipating their needs, offering local information, and handling inquiries to create a seamless experience.
2. Greet and welcome students and guests warmly at front of house/reception.
3. Be available to answer questions and assist as needed.
4. Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of communal areas during the night shift.
5. Ensure residents and guests respect the facilities.
6. Address issues or challenges proactively, providing solutions.
7. Conduct regular patrols every 4-6 hours, surveying and reporting on the building's condition.
8. Replenish refreshments and manage vending supplies.
9. Manage parcel storage for easy access by students.
10. Serve as the primary contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
11. Maintain waste management areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
* Experienced in customer service, capable of delivering premium experiences.
* Comfortable with cleaning tasks, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
* Technologically savvy, familiar with relevant systems and software.
Personal Qualities:
* Respectful of diverse cultures and backgrounds, promoting equality.
* Excellent communication skills; multilingual skills are a plus.
* Organized, calm under pressure, adaptable, positive, and resilient.
* Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, with accommodations as needed.
* Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and religious celebrations, to ensure continuous resident service.
