Associate - Construction Disputes - Bristol - 3+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £80,000 to £110,000 (reflecting the top end of the regional market)
A leading national law firm with a top tier reputation in the UK legal market is seeking a Construction Disputes Associate (3+ PQE) to join its Bristol office. You will join a highly ranked Construction & Engineering disputes team, acting on complex, high value matters across major sectors including energy, utilities, transport, real estate and infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
* Advising on construction related litigation, adjudication and arbitration
* Acting on disputes in the Technology and Construction Court
* Managing adjudications and expert determinations
* Providing strategic troubleshooting advice throughout the project lifecycle
* Working on domestic and international arbitration matters
* Supporting clients across major infrastructure and energy projects
* Collaborating closely with a respected partner and a growing national team

Candidate Requirements
* 3+ years PQE in contentious construction disputes
* Experience handling complex and high value matters
* Strong understanding of adjudication, arbitration and TCC litigation
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to manage a varied and demanding caseload
* Motivation, commercial awareness and a willingness to learn
* Experience supervising junior colleagues and contributing to business development
* Registration with the SRA
