About the Post
Regulatory Services Field Officer (Pollution Control)
We are excited to recruit to the role of Regulatory Service Field Officer in our busy Pollution Control Team, here in Barnsley—the place of possibilities. The successful candidate will play an important role in protecting the public by investigating nuisance complaints, carrying out permitting inspections, monitoring air quality and private water supplies. You will work with internal and external partners.

Qualifications
To join us youll need a level 3 qualification, and previous experience of dealing with the public and businesses. Additional qualifications and the submission of a portfolio will unlock the higher salary scale. Youll bring a commitment to work flexibly and an appetite for engaging in continuous training and professional development in this rewarding field of work.
