The Energy team is expanding, and we are looking to further recruit a Project Controls Manager to play a critical role supporting the delivery of major, complex projects in defence infrastructure. This role will have a bias towards change and reporting, however, it is expected that the ideal candidate has a broad understanding of the whole scope of project controls.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of project reporting frameworks, ensuring accurate and timely performance insights across the programme.
* Produce and present monthly reports, dashboards and performance packs for senior stakeholders.
* Oversee and govern the change control process, ensuring all changes are identified, assessed, approved and tracked throughout the lifecycle.
* Maintain and manage change registers, ensuring visibility of impact on cost, schedule and scope.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting tools, systems and processes.
* Lead a team of change and reporting consultants.
Who we are looking for
* Ideally HNC, HND or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Construction Law, or a similar or relevant discipline; alternatively, applicants with an engineering background may be considered.
* Must have experience within the construction environment or engineering discipline and relevant experience within cost management; experience in the nuclear, civil engineering or service contracting sectors is essential.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a methodical way of thinking and excellent problem‑solving skills.
* Experience with Ecosys and other cost tools.
* Professional qualifications and/or membership of the RICS, CIOB, APM, AcostE or other relevant Chartered Institute are desired, and will be supported if not already obtained.
