Client Accountant
We are working with a well-established accountancy practice who are looking to appoint an experienced Client Accountant to join their growing team. The Role
* Preparing and finalising year-end statutory accounts for Ltd Companies, LLPs, Partnerships, and Sole Traders
* Preparing Corporation Tax computations and CT600s
* Completing Self-Assessment Tax Returns for directors, business owners, and individuals
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing proactive and timely advice
* Handling client queries via phone, email, and meetings in a professional and responsive manner
* Liaising with HMRC and other external bodies where required
* Supporting with management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasting
* Identifying opportunities to support clients with additional services
* Contributing to improving internal processes and efficiencies
About You
* Must have at least 2-3 years solid experience working within UK accountancy practice
* ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) – part-qualified with strong experience also considered
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and tax compliance
* Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
* A proactive and commercially minded attitude
* Experience with Xero and/or CCH (desirable but not essential)
