Berry Recruitment Southampton are looking for a Sous Chef to work in a local Townhouse Restaurant based in SO24.
Job Title: Second Chef
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Permanent
Pattern: Wednesday to Sunday (Off Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday Off)
Hours: Wed - Sat 09:30 to 15:00, 17:30 to 21:00. Sunday 09:30 to 16:30.
Pay: Around £28,000 per annum depending on experience
Your role will be to provide excellent support to the Head Chef to assist with delivering outstanding cuisine to guests for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and bespoke Events.
Job Duties:
1. Food preparation.
2. Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance.
3. All food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards.
4. Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed.
