Packline Materials Handling design and manufacture stainless steel lifting and handling equipment for industries such as food, drinks, medical and pharmaceutical etc.

Based in Poole, Dorset, UK, we specialise in designing and manufacturing high-quality stainless-steel solutions for reels and drums.

At Packline, we provide customised lifting solutions designed for safety, efficiency, and hygiene compliance, for a wide variety of loads.

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly team. The role is an office-based position reporting to the Directors and will require book-keeping experience, IT knowledge and the ability to learn new skills.

Maternity Cover from September to end of January

Responsibilities

Accounts

Accounts Payable

* Check supplier invoices and post to Sage Accounts
* Create new supplier accounts
* Maintain supplier portals

Accounts Receivable

* Ensure timely receipt of customer payments
* Create new Customer accounts
* Maintain customer portals
* Maintain customer ledger
* Invoicing Customers in UK and overseas (using correct agreed Incoterms)
* Liaise with production to ensure timely invoicing and proforma payment receipts.

Attend Production and Sales Meetings to ensure goods and services invoiced timely.

Post customer card payments online

Assisting with Processing and Administrating Staff Expenses

Liaise with shippers and production to organise overseas shipping documentation and collection (ensuring correct Incoterms).

Administration

General administration to ensure smooth running of production and sales.

Shipping administration of freight and spare parts.

Purchasing of stationery within budgets

Complete and maintain customer and supplier information and registration forms

Maintain accurate Records:

* Sage Accounts software supplier and customer details
* Shipping documentation, invoices, proof of deliveries
* Supplier and customer invoices.
* Provide cover for Sales Administrator.

Requirements

* Knowledge and experience of Sage Accounts essential
* Book-keeping skills including sales and purchase ledgers essential
* Experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment desirable
* Knowledge of overseas shipping procedures desirable
* Knowledge and experience of vat codes for imports / exports desirable
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and learn new skills

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: £20,800.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
